I see both sides of this issue, and haven't yet thrown my lot in with complaining (failed jokes maybe), but saying there are 50 threads with 50 different people complaining...

It obviously means a lot to folks =) that's all.

I'd be more worried if people didn't complain. That would mean they're headed for the door, y'know?

Let them vent. It's obvious the devs have thick skin or this place would have folded long ago. I've wagged my finger at loud complaining, but I've tried to realize it's a pressure valve, and it comes from the right place: a burning desire to PLAY! If the community has that, then we're all in good stead (when we can get in!)

Though I agree Lagaidh, with many of your points, I still think some of the complaining is completely over the edge and childish. I don't know. Maybe I'm tired of trying to find information in these threads, only to see 5 pages of "OMG GMS YOU SUK WTF WERE R OUR SERVER LOL?"

I get to char select and no characters, its saying my spell files are outdated?

Is this just a Login server issue?

Funny thing is that Red99 and EZ server dont suffer from this so whats the problem ?

That's because it's not the Login Server. It's the world server for P99 blue.

Heap Corruption with a popup that prevents the batch file from restarting the process because it doesn't fully crash out (main stream keeps running). Kanras and I have spent days worth of time working on going through code from the time it started happening (September - November 2011) checking and rolling back code and haven't found the cause.

Frankly at this point it is the single biggest thing pissing me off, more so than even the latest drama troll scandal.

When this happens it just starts spamming connection fails because the UDP Thread of the process is no longer executing, which is also the reason it stops responding to any UDP packets from clients for logging in or zoning.
