Sure, I'd blame it on whatever I could too if I'd spent a year or two claiming I was unarguably the best and that no one else could do what I do. That's a cop out.

I'm sure it had nothing to do with getting beat in VP, not getting as many server first epics as my rival guild, and in general losing more targets than I was winning!

Amelinda is unfair. We're ALL OF A SUDDEN sick of killing the same content repeatedly. It had absolutely NOTHING to do with losing a war that for so long we had been winning. Nothing at all.... nothing at all.

It's not too late for y'all to go suck some dicks on AK if y'all don't like the state of things here.

See, Liu Kang, I can demonstrate many dialects. Beeyotch

The fierce competition and actually losing raid targets made the game fun (at least for me), it was one of the few reasons to continue raiding the same shit for over a year. Sure, there may have been some IB who got so butthurt about losing a few targets to TMO that they decided to quit, but for the majority of the guild the top reasons for leaving were 1) boredom due to the huge gap between kunark and velious 2) the way Amelinda was running the server and managing the raid scene

Feel free to disagree and claim it was because TMO roflstomped their egos. After all, you guys know best seeing as how you weren't in the guild. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Anyway, I think theres one thing we can all agree on: P99 raiding will never be as fun as it was in fall/winter 2011 and the drama will never be as good.

since eminence was mentioned in this thread, just gunna say that that guild had one of the most concentrated talent pools that i've seen in any guild on this server for its time

Oh I don't dispute that it was a great many factors that contributed to the exodus, but I stand by my assertion that wounded foolish pride is ultimately what sent IB packing.

Anyone can do this shit - I am proof of that.

QFT and the raid scene was bad on both ends.

I conversed with everyone in IB/TR that mattered. I also remember there standpoint on everything.

Losing targets to TMO wasn't high on the list of shit to QQ over. Losing targets because 99.7% of VD members couldn't pull their weight was higher on the QQ list.

It's easier to blame someone/something else.
