The fierce competition and actually losing raid targets made the game fun (at least for me), it was one of the few reasons to continue raiding the same shit for over a year. Sure, there may have been some IB who got so butthurt about losing a few targets to TMO that they decided to quit, but for the majority of the guild the top reasons for leaving were 1) boredom due to the huge gap between kunark and velious 2) the way Amelinda was running the server and managing the raid scene

Feel free to disagree and claim it was because TMO roflstomped their egos. After all, you guys know best seeing as how you weren't in the guild. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Anyway, I think theres one thing we can all agree on: P99 raiding will never be as fun as it was in fall/winter 2011 and the drama will never be as good.
I conversed with everyone in IB/TR that mattered. I also remember there standpoint on everything.

Losing targets to TMO wasn't high on the list of shit to QQ over. Losing targets because 99.7% of VD members couldn't pull their weight was higher on the QQ list.

It's easier to blame someone/something else.
