Question can't connect

Been playing for about two weeks now in P99, and haven't had any issues. I was on earlier today, and had no problems at all. Now, this evening when I opened launcher, I'm getting "error while retrieving newest version" then "could not reach the webserver trying again in 10 seconds.." any advice?

I posted beneath you. I think we both use the Eqemu login program to populate the server lists. I think Moestaverne.com is down and therefore we cannot connect. If there is another way around it hopefully someone can tell us soon. Otherwise we may just have to ride it out until Moe puts it back up.

It seems fine when I try. Very strange indeed. If he's changed something it's been working ok for me at least. Tried restarting your comp and all that "AOL technical support" BS? [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

(is your computer plugged in? etc)

I get to the character select screen, select the character then while loading I get you have been disconnected.....rinse, repeat.

Tried reloading the patch, rebooted many times, put it away for a day and came back with same result.

I play using Exede satelite internet so maybe he changed how long the server would wait before it disconnected? No idea, just a stab in the dark.

I keep getting this problem yet can connect to other servers fine, just seems to be the P99 Blue one that gives me issues. I just have to keep retrying over and over and wait till the planets are in the right position and it lets me on.

Which version? Everything was working fine this morning. Doesn't appear to be an updates in windows updater. Sorry if I'm skeptical but looks to be a PITA if that is the problem. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
