Default NPC selling the wrong item from his inventory?

Hey,

Tried to buy a flask of water from a Shady Swashbuckler in EC tunnel today. I had selected the right item for sure (watch screenshot, he tells me that the water flask would cost 1 silver). The screenshot is not forged. Instead of the water, he gave me a fine steel short sword for 52 plat. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Could you please check whether the transactions between Shady Swashbuckler and PCs go smoothly? I really don't know what I could have done wrong. The water flask *was* selected and the NPC confirmed it in my chat window. Needless to say, the waste of plat was annoying. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Forgot to mention that it happened to the character named "Philemon", about half an hour before my post.

This tends to happen when multiple people are using a merchant at the same time. It has happened to me in the past as well and was reported at least once or twice since the server opened.

Until they can find a fix for it (if they can) I suggest waiting for people to leave the merchant before purchasing anything.

As far as selling items while other people are using the merchant goes, I have not noticed any issue with that.
