my girlfriend hates that i "buzz" my hair so short, but it's much easier to take care of and when working out... especially with crossfit and not having to deal w/ cold sweat on the back of my neck. i used to hate that shit when i had longer hair.

The buzz hair cut is much better for a receding hair line though. That's what I do when it gets hot out because I hate dealing with longer hair in the summer. I'm starting to keep it short all the time though cause I cant give 2 fucks 2 fuss with my hair in the morning b4 work.
