Default Crushbone Belt Turn in

I've been playing on and off today for about 6 hours, but my ip's been banned twice in the last 15 minutes or so when i try to turn in 4 crushbone belts at a time. Any relation?

Hi, I remember some kind of bug with the CB belt turn-in. If you tried to equip the armor (that you get from turn-in) before placing it in your inventory, you would then be disconnected. I cant remember if it shot you to the server select or character select, if its the server select. Your character is probably still in-game and needs time to ping out.

Not sure if this is the case for you. But after turning in the belts, place the items you get into your inventory before trying to equip them.

Not solved, it seems.

Just now, around maybe 01:50-01:57 PST, as a level 6 druid:

* Turned in three CB belts.

* Dinged 7.

* Put the three armor pieces it gave me (Small Patchwork Cloak, Small Tattered Wristbands, Small Patchwork Boots) in available inventory slots.

* Tried to equip the wristbands and immediately got kicked back to login screen.

* Tried to log back in, got the message to the effect that a character is already online and to wait for it to sync.

* Logged back in a few minutes later to find the wristbands still in my inventory and the boots still on my cursor.

* Equipped wristbands, everything seems fine now.

(On an unrelated note, activation email for the forums seems bugged; URLs are only providing the path portion, not the host or scheme.)

The bug is getting booted.

Just FYI if you disconnect & the server is still up, then your character/account is still registered as being logged in. If you don't have an IP Exemption then there is a short window where you'll get the IP Ban message, which basically states your IP is currently being used by an account and you cannot log another one in until this clears.
