so, since 1999 is down - anyone know how to get EQ to install a second time in another folder? might try Hidden Forest while i wait

Just do a drag and drop copy. Gotta change a few things, like spell files and stuff.

Game is way too easy. Hit 90 in like 2 days after the expansion came out, raid ready that same day.

i dont think u have to install a new copy to play on a diff emu server....

i could be wrong tho

Cut your EQ files and put them on a storable hard drive (or USB stick if you have a nice one).

Then do a fresh install with "THF" or whatever server name.

Then paste everything back [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Well, most things on P99 are done differently, like the spell files, they don't use the new zone models, so if any of that stuff is different on another server, those things won't work or appear correctly. You may be able to log into their server, but things will be screwy. It's like trying to zone into LS on P99 when you have the new LS zone file.
