Default Starting up

Just got the game downloaded, I've been looking at character select and am not really sure what to create, so if anyone has any ideas or thoughts or opinions or anything whatsoever about newbie adventuring in Norrath, please reply. And if anyone wants to duo up with me I'd much appreciate that.

Necro, mage, or druid wouldn't be a bad idea just to get some cash. For example, I made a necro awhile back and got him to lvl 20. I started killing bards at around level 12 and by level 20 I had made ~600pp iirc. Once you have some jingle, play whatever class appeals to you.

Realistically you might want to go with something that will be in good demand for groups. You'll find that a lot of lower level melee are going to be somewhat twinked out... For someone JUST starting out perhaps look into a priest class? Shaman maybe? they become very powerful later on and are very versatile.

Grouping can be difficult to impossible during off hours, I would suggest a class that can solo as your first character, if you want to play a class that requires grouping just make it a secondary character when you know you can get a group

make a cleric dude. they can solo undead like crazy, and there is enough undead to go around so it's not really a pain in the ass to find somewhere to solo. You can go from like 15 to 39 in Unrest if you want to, solo or grouped as you like. Not like it is hard for a cleric to find a group either. If you want to play one then do it man

You might also search around here and read about Erudite clerics soloing undead in Paineel, I think it is supposed to be pimp ass exp and maybe money too. Might be tight to make an erudite cleric.

anyway dude my main is a 30 monk so if you make a cleric and want to group someday that'd be sweet. Maybe message me here and I can try to make you some banded

Totally doable, bank/vendors on site - no faction hit... what's not to like?
