Default LB mobs and group exp

Let's say I'm the highest member of a group. A mob is LB to me, DB to the group. Does everyone get reduced exp from it, or just me? (I'm hoping just me.)

Isn't XP divided based on the highest level member? So if its LB to you, they'll get a share of the XP you'd be getting?

At a low level for example...a group goes into CB, the lowest member is Lvl 5, the highest is Lvl 9. For certain, if a mob is green to the level 9, the group won't get XP because its green to the highest level (and the Lvl 5 might see it as DB/even, but get nothing).

I thought a mob's exp was a fixed number, and if it's green to anyone, that's simply no exp.

Light Blue is the exception, because (I thought) light blue means a mob gives only 1/4 exp. That's what I remember from the devs' explanation back when LB was introduced, anyway. But if the highest member determines all, then I guess it would be 1/4 exp to all, I'm just not sure that's the case.

Yeah, the level of the highest member of the group determines the XP. So if something is green to that member, noone gets XP for it. And if it's light blue to that member then 25% XP is then divided among the group. Unless there's some special rules that's how it would work according to the wiki.

I believe you're right.

Highest level toon determines the xp. Otherwise we'd have groups of level 20's with a 60 thrown in there destroying things.
