Default Full Screen Crashing

I have a small problem, I hit alt+enter by accident and I jumped to full screen, which promptly crashed. I cannot get back into the game because of this. I tried alt+enter at the server screen, which sent it back to windowed mode, but when I go into p99, it goes back to full screen and crashes. Can someone tell me the file I can go into to edit this to go back to windowed mode? Thanks

Not completely sure if this is going to work for you... hope it does.

Open your eqclient.ini file using Notepad, in the EverQuest folder you installed the game into...

Search for WindowedMode. If the value is WindowedMode=FALSE, try setting it to TRUE. Save, and close Notepad.

Try launching the game, but don't change any settings through the launcher/launchpad...

Good luck,

B

While you're in there check that the full screen resolution setting is reasonable for your video card, you might be crashing because it's invalid...

Thanks for the help guys, I discovered that apparently there was some EQ data installed into the "app data" folder that was separate from the EQ launch folder. I was able to correct the problem in notepad from there, but took me a while to find.
