So you're one of the idiots who wants to spend big money so we can jail people for being idiots. I hope you're just as big of a moron when you file your taxes.

Congratulations, you can point out that our judicial and incarceration systems are extremely flawed.

The parts that are in bold are not exclusive to all incarceration systems globally, they are only true in nations where the authority in power decides to cater to people who don't wish to abide by the laws that are required to maintain the state of being a citizen.

Don't assume that I support the fact that we feed, clothe, give medical attention, physically train, school, provide entertainment mediums and even pay these murderers, rapists, drug dealers and gang-bangers while they are in prison. The system is broken, however, acknowledging such doesn't mean that I'd rather have these people running free to do harm to more people, flawed prison is the lesser of two evils in this case.

The same goes for the death penalty, the idea of the death penalty isn't flawed. The appeals system, and the fact that it takes 30 years to put someone to death who has been proven guilty beyond ANY reasonable doubt is ridiculous. This isn't even taking into consideration that the state is paying to keep this person living essentially comfortably the whole time.

People really think judges don't give sentences out based on personal emotion? Wow

I have a friend who used to work in corrections in PA and I could have sworn he mentioned something about the inmates were paying for their own incarceration, and that menial labor like making license plates or picking up trash etc was offered to even out their debt

Are you keeping in mind that she had a few Xanax or something like that? I don't think she's a good example for supporting a fast track to the death penalty.

That's good for the little cunt if she would learn some manors and respect she wouldn't be in the situation. Welcome to the future of America where every little shit thinks they are some superstar because of their thousands of followers on facebook.

I tried to chase a tenant out of my house by knifepoint (he was larger than I am) and he called the cops. I spent a night in jail but the painful part was the bail money. When I went to court, the judge gave me time served, could have given me 3 years. I dressed well, spoke clearly and respectfully and didn't cause him any trouble.

They definitely go by personal emotion.
