Not really, given the amount of selling accounts that happens on the server -- this shit will happen again in the future. Only reason its an issue here is because it happened to me. I really do feel bad for the average player who saves up the platinum, purchases an account then gets banned for something the previous owner used.

This can be solved by banning all MQ flagged characters immediately as soon as the usage happens. But when enacting this, you are left with dealing with all the people already playing accounts that are flagged that they purchased. Which I would lead to a huge problem for GM's to sift through the legitimate and illegitimate claims.

So its kind of a catch 22.

I would say it's the risk taken when buying accounts, something that should not be encouraged.

It is definitely encouraged here. All you have to do is see how the GMs protect the WTS account threads in EC Tunnel forums.

Hopefully they will offer a "Check that toon for SEQ flagging" service soon. I wonder if it will cost any $$........
