Bluetooth is not required the program is commercial GPS app akin to salesforce the user can use it to get directions or look at a map.

The company my client works for has a proprietary build of motionX that allows a supervisor to log into a website and check the current location of every device attached to his team.

What We suspect is that the culprit is using an IPad developer tool and/or a Jailbroken iPad to manually set the location of the ipad so when the supervisor checks he can show he is in the field and not sitting at home.

Just saw the edit.

Is there a way to show him downloading any of these apps? Even if he deletes them and reinstalls them every day?

Of that I am not sure. Unfortunately I am not that familiar with apple, but I do work with windows mobile devices in a similar way. Using motorola appcenter, we disable the ability of workers to use anything except for our applications. Furthermore, you can log/flag changes using something like Mortscript. If the 'client' using the ipad has full access to the system, well, you would need the device to report home with changes. Out of my element for apple, though. Good luck.

Thank you nilbog

What I'm thinking is his IPad is hooked up to his computer running an app dev tool and he is sending locations using his PC.

Not a big apple user her I need to find someone who has experience in apple development
