Default Error when starting EQ

I just installed EQ Titanium and followed the setup guide on project1999.org, and whenever I start the game I get a message that "eqgame.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close"

Anyone got any ideas? I tried to manually set the resolution, disable all luclin models and all advanced graphic options. Updated nvidia drivers.

My system is win xp 32 pro, e6400 3ghz core2duo cpu, 3gb ram, geforce 8800gs

So you checked your current screen resolution and put those exact numbers in eqclient.ini? Did you do it before or after you disabled all the models etc.

Anytime I've seen this error it's the client trying to do something that the OS won't let it ...

Regards,
Mg

Default Good point

You make a good point, it seems to happen when the window expands as it starts loading. How can I set it to load as windowed?

EDIT:
I installed WinEQ2, works fine now. Thanks :]
