ok so this was here on p1999. i looked up on zam about the zone najena cause i heard it was fantastic exp so i go in there looking for stuff to kill.

mobs at the entrance were green but the goblins later on were blue. well, killed them all and read on zam that there's a pool nearby with an undead froglok guarding it. it said i could kill the froglok but dont go near the door cause najena is in there and will rape me.

well...i went near the door and najena+friends totally destroyed my toon.

i should've listened and to be honest, i dont even know why i went towards the door!

This actually just happened to me recently.

I started getting bored of hunting WC and Oasis around level 18, so I got a wild hair up my butt and decided to branch out a bit. I settled into East Karana very nicely and bound myself on the Gorge/EK zoneline. After finally hitting level 20 in about one morning's work I had amassed a good bit of silk and coins and decided to make my way back to Neriak to unload my goods.

Not being one to go scrounging around for buffs where others are hunting I decided to just hike it back under my own power. I made it to EC with no trouble, sold my goods, and headed finally to Neriak to bank. Since I hadn't been in Nektulos for a good 5-6 levels I wanted to check and see what the halflings in Nektulos forest were conning.

I saw a blue con and squared off against it with no pet. What could go wrong, right? Well I had made the stupid decision of picking the "Leatherfoot Medic". To make a long story short, the bastard chain stunned my dumb ass into oblivion and wiped the forest floor with me and voila! I found myself standing naked as a jaybird all the way back in EK at level 19. Let's just say it wasn't a very happy CR [You must be logged in to view images. I love these stories. Sometimes a rough death or CR is frustrating, but it's nice to be playing a real game that will kick your ass for mistakes.

Had a friend on live who fell asleep in his Unrest group and was bound at the zoneline INSIDE... he woke up with a million corpses and missing like 7 levels.

One I heard about. Shortly after Velious came out, a few friends were playing near the Eastern Wastes/Great Divide border and decided to try to find the entrance to Kael. Some high-level caster (I think a Druid) offered to show them the way, so they all auto-followed him.

The druid went the usual way from that point, along the Eastern wall of EW to the top of the canyon leading into Kael, and levitated on down to the IZ.

The problem was that the guys auto-following him were not levitated.

Good times from all. My favorite was shortly after Kunark was released. I was low level...maybe mid 20's on my monk, and poor. I paid a substancial amount for a port into the dreadlands and saw that HUGE wizard portal with the 100 story spires for the first time. Without even thinking I ran up to it, realized I could actually scale the spires and decided to run to the top. Gazing out upon eternity it didn't even enter my mind that my Safe Fall skill would not be up to the task and I base jumped right off the top landing for 30,000 points of damage I think? I ended up back at my bind point and sent a very embarassed explanation to the Druid that had ported me over. Luckily he took mercy on me and gave me a ride back lol. I was suprised there wasn't a crater under my corpse.

Accidentally targeting myself and hitting my DT key count as funny?
