Reputations are important in an MMO like EQ, but it takes a lot more than a single post on a very minor incident to ruin one. As far as main looting, I hate this. In most exp groups you have a revolving door of new players routinely. It is a lot of work to keep track of loot and money and splits...and in an exp, where you want to keep work to a minimum so that the grp doesn't get tired, you don't need it. Loot rules are simple imo... 1. Whoever is leader states the rules when the grp starts. It doesn't matter what the rules are, only that they are stated at the beginning so that all know. 2. Since everyone has been informed of the loot rules, whatever they are, the group should say at the beginning if they have a problem with it. An example might be, "honor looting on vendor trash, alpha on gems, and we will roll NBG on any gear." It doesn't matter...as long as everyone agrees before looting starts. The sure way to get into problems is to not state the rules until loot drops. Thats it. Say the rules, say if you have a problem with the rules before anything starts to be looted/rolled on/etc... | |||
