The red/blue hostility is an ancient EQ tradition.
I remember back on live, I felt like a second-class citizen of Norrath. You'd mention something about PvP on the class forums, and there'd be more posts from bluebies saying stuff like, "I'm just so glad your servers are there, because they keep the little kids/assholes off of my server!" and "EQ isn't even a pvp game, no one cares about this stuff" than actual discussion of whatever the topic was. And to make matters worse, the devs seemed to agree with you. The pvp community would beg and plead for some easy but gamebreaking fixes, and we would go ignored. As we were ignored, the blue community would be crying, "Don't spend any time on pvp changes; we're paying customers and to see any time put into the servers I don't play on would send me into a rage! And if these changes do go in, I'm absolutely terrified out of my mind that they would somehow affect pve; so we had best just put the thought out of our minds entirely."
I remember when the GoD expansion came out, and the berserkers were unable to use their snares and such in pvp. It wouldn't surprise me if this is still the case on live.
I'm not saying that you bluebies are in the wrong for being annoyed at the red playerbase here, but there's always more than one way to look at things; and in my experience many bluebies have been smug, rude and condescending to us pvp players.

Thank you! I don't have anything against red just the constant stream of players coming to blue attacking us.
I kind of thought they were looking for a fight, and being on a red server that theyd like to fight and argue but everytime i tell them to get out they cry and leave 8(
