Having just started another alt a few days ago, I was really surprised by the amount of actual NEW players I encountered in greater fay. Grouped with several people that said it was their first character and they were new here.

It's not just twinked alts out there.

This isn't the first time I've said that either. I remember posting almost the exact same thing a year ago when I had just started a different alt. Quite a few people seem to visit this server, not just regulars.

I have noticed this too. On every char I have leveled up, I've met just as many brand new people as not. In fact, I've probably seen more new people each time than regulars each time -- and the vast majority are not twinked. Maybe a slime coated harpoon and a brig tunic on a rogue, or an enamled black chest on a warrior, but nothing more than a few hundred plat worth.
