Also, after further testing, im not sure this is the case... all ports i type in are "blocked"

setup a reverse vpn from work to your home internet...they cant stop you from doing that... but i could be against your IT security policy which is grounds for termination [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Considering you have a job, is it safe to assume you have a cell phone and pay for cellular service. Do you also purchance pay for unlimited data on your cell phone. Cheat, use your cell internet, shared to your laptop or something to gain a working connection.

I have been very successful in getting my blackberry to work as my modem, even in the middle of nowhere, Minnesota, on Tmobile's 2G network. I would certainly suggest going this route before using your company's network.
