I have no dog in this fight...but did feel like responding to a few of the things I breezed over.

IB didn't exist during actual live. Many of some of their original core that I knew of were in a guild called Inner Circle on Xegony, though, including Xzerion. They did well, had some server firsts for sure though I couldn't tell you which because Alliance (VS/IS/SoA) had a majority of them if memory serves including Vulak and AoW. I could be wrong, I was young as shit.

As far as the 'hooping' goes...sounds remarkably similar to the clusterfuck of DA idol camping when sky was being cleared for the first time through the massively tactically and utterly skillless combination of mage pets and sitting while invulnerable. Whorish, skillless item exploitation isn't novel.

Howling Stones worked pretty well when I beta'd it. Much better than the other zones I was in, actually. If you want to whine about mob HP level vs. exp mod, that's another argument, but it was functional. CoM and Karnors were clusterfucks.

did you guys kill any dragons before the rotation while under duress? Serious question.
After the initial Rogean-imposed rotation and raffle, TMO and TR willingly agreed to a rotation in VP. One day when we took an hour too long to kill something because we were finishing up a sky raid, TR dropped their tags and reformed under IB and attempted to kill the dragon that was ours per the rotation (total cop-out). TR got their asses handed to them at this point for a while, and after some more fun we agreed to another rotation. Eventually this ran its course and when we once again went hostile. IB got ZERO kills in VP outside of the rotation. Then after some raid suspensions and such, IB disintegrated and a good chunk of their members RMTed off the server.

We also had better trackers in better positions and logged out better people who were better prepared.

If you want to talk cheating in tracking, it was the DA crew you absorbed, mountaineer I believe, that got the only suspension pre dll for seq tracking when rogean popped an invisible to track version of dracoliche. I know because he tried it on me first, and I passed.
Koota that got busted for targetting the invis under world pet or whatever, not Mountaineer. He was kicked out for it. No clue if he ever came back under another name after I quit.

so both guilds got their first kills/loots with no competition/training? Ok.

I personally am still in favor of having both guilds have freestyle rap battles over ventrilo to decide FTE. This not only provides an X-factor that is unique and stylish, but provides entertainment for the rest of the server to come and listen to and have one more thing to add. I for one would be a huge fan of an Alarti-Shinko freestyle. These wordsmiths would be using their words to win at more than forumquest, but also get their dragons. RnF would then turn into such gems as:

"FE Mutes Jeremy; stole win"
"TMO uses unauthorized autotune; Alarti asks for proof"
"Harrison still is whining"

It's a win win and would ask all high end raiders to consider this option. Thank you for your time.
