Default Updated water in Freeport etc.

I've installed the HD texture pack and love it, but the updated water is not showing in some of the old zones (Freeport on the docks for example; it shows elsewhere). Is there a way to get the new water in all areas, or is it a function of the S3D data?

^ lol

he's only partially kidding, though, as most of the 'tech people' that come by here often don't use any of the updated textures and such.

Hopefully someone who does will roll by and be able to answer your question - im drawing a blank on this one, though if i had to guess I'd say its most likely a function of the s3d data

From reading around in other (old) posts in this forum, it's because the water in the affected zones was tagged by Verant as part of the level mesh, not a separate object. Hence the show updated water flag doesn't work. The only way to fix it is to get updated S3D files, which I would do except for some areas that would mean having the Luclin towers in = no go for me.
