Arrow Mouse movement = game lag/frame skip

Hi all,

I played on this server a few years back, and just got setup to do so again with a fresh start. Excited to see that it's still so active.

The game runs great, except when I move my mouse. Any kind of movement seems to make things immediately choppy and skippy. As soon as I stop moving the mouse, things are perfectly smooth again. I know this is probably specific to my video card/settings/drivers (these have been updated). Anyone else experience an issue like this? Any tips to try and resolve it? I'm mostly a hotkey guy anyway so it's not a huuuuge deal for the moment, but I know it'll get old fast.

I have WinEQ2 running but it doesn't seem to make any difference. Maybe there's a configuration setting somewhere that could help? I also tried adjusting my max frame rate in-game with no change.

Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Set the fps limit equal to your monitors refresh rate in the options panel.

I've heard WinEQ2 solves the mouse lag.

Step 4 - Optional WinEQ
Many users experience problems with proper CPU/Core Utilization or crashing which can be fixed by using WinEQ2. You can download this program from Lavishsoft.
