I certainly am not trying to give him full immunity - as I said before in the CoS rules this type of business as well as RMT is met with swift and unwavering consequences, and they have been dealt. Copping guilt wouldn't have changed the aftermath - fail to see how that applies besides being a source of entertainment for many - it's the actions that matter, and as the social consequences have been met (and *if* GMs decide to deal with the issue in their own method) I think we can give SOME opportunistic credit to a justifiable outcome.

Toga will have a hard enough time in the future if he chooses to continue with his pain. Lessons are learned, second chances are extended. I can think of many others in much more popular guilds who have done scams and RMTs much more profitable than this one and they're still sitting comfortably in their guild in P99.

I hear you man. I didn't mean to object with such a harsh tone.

I can't help but think that this would not have been resolved so swiftly and "cleanly" if you had not pointed out his guild (thereby bringing it to their attention while simultaneously throwing them into the fire).

Everyone is entitled to an opinion - that fact certainly brought it to our attention quicker than the alternative, but in public view or not the consequences would have been the same.

But you are correct in saying it brought a rapid response... No guild whose values include credibility and reputation would be happy knowing this type of thing was going on, much less being spread on the public forum in such a fashion that gives ill representation towards them.

I hate to say this as I have been I. A similar situation, but it's your own fault. Don't ever hand anything over or pay up front to someone unless they are in a reputable guild and is established, not a level 1-10. Not always a convinient as finding any noob but you won't get robbed this way.

So you're saying the guy that admits to making a conscious decision to agree to do a transfer and then steal the items has been deguilded?
