I argued that its due to breeding (upbringing) and lack of grooming. Essentially, ignorant as fuck. Therefore, unhappy as fuck, with no idea how to make their way in this world with all the cards of life in their deck.

Show me someone with a doctorate or masters degree from a top 100 ranked university that blew all their money on drugs. I won't be waiting because it doesn't exist. Open that up to top 1,000 ranked university, still not happening.

Then the same person you have to explain this to, is the same person who can be caught railing against education and college degrees on any given evening "They're worthless".

Hang on SoRP pal. This was about people inheriting/winning large sums of money suddenly and then being too retarded to do something positive with it.

I agree with your general assessment, but on this specific subject the statistics don't lie. There is way more likely to be squandered fortune among those who didn't pursue a good education and/or those who could not pursue a good education because they didn't lie about being Native American. For whatever reason.

Pursuing education doesn't necessarily involve college. I was just using college interchangeably with good socio-economic background/head on their shoulders.
