Claw of Lightning or Rogue Epic for offhand?

I always see people talk about Vyemm's Fang, but what about Mrylokar`s Dagger of Vengeance or Massive Heartwood Thorn? I know you can't really compare TLPs to P99 for a million different reasons, but on TLPs everyone main hands the Mrylokars, offhands the Massive Heartwood Thorn and puts Vyemm's in their range slot.

I don’t main a rogue bit in order of best to worst ratio not considering any other weapons for offhand:
Claw > Vyemm > Tunare

I currently mainhand epic, offhand claw, and doze dagger ranged slot. Plan to replace mainhand with vulak dagger and expect at that point the best approach is to swap offhand to epic for backstabs and then swap back to claw for melee attacks.

there are very few if any situations you dont want epic in your offhand unless you just dont have a competend mainhand (FESS ratio or better)

Rare occasion epic in offhand would outperform burst damage being select disc 3 backstab windows if you dont have another 15 dmg alternative otherwise sustained DPS a 17-18 delay dagger will pretty much always consistantly outparse epic in mainhand outside of fringe RNG situations. the +Atk from epic is all that matters and why running mrylokar mh / epic oh will be the highest consistant DPS output you can do in game. Claw being only 20% of your overall dps the +atk impact on the other 80%+ of your dps when not running claw is significantly more impactful

yeah but people who have been playing on the server for years and never got good at any class think that rogues can ever unequip their epics on p99

Bc typically you’re better off gearing your character across the board instead of blowing your load on a vulak/tuna item. With 1h dmg bonus vyemm technically has has a better ratio too ((dmg * 2 + 11) / dly)

Claw is fantastic for parsing to see the impacts of weapon choices since you can get the slashing OH white damage breakout to see how insignificant OH dps is compared to +ATK. Think about how significant you see Avatar is on dps output parses then look at RB as a mini avatar buff.

Vyemm fang can also with right RNG outparse a vulak dagger particularly on high AC target and more consistently outparse tuna dagger on those same targets though RNG will always play a meaningful part given backstab dmg is 35-40% generally of your dps output.

Willsapper for leveling, thing has made soloing much easier
