Patch Notes: Sunday, April 19th, 2020

The real issue the devs face is the amount information that was available back in ‘99 vs what there is today. In that regard, it’s IMPOSSIBLE to recreate a truly classic experience. In order to combat the vast majority of players knowing every in and out of this game, they implement non-classic changes, in order to recreate a more classic experience. So while this does move away from truly being classic, the gameplay and tactics have shifted towards a more classic feel. Job well done!

The real shame is that time and time again the actions of the few who take extreme advantage of mechanics ends up effecting everyone negatively instead of a more clever solution being reached. Huge guild mass recharging with 100's of 1000's of plat and spamming them on raid targets now people with less resources and less time end up being more dramatically effected because at the end of the day, the people who were abusing the items to the degree needed to need intervention will continue to dominate regardless. oh huge guilds pull to zone line??? k root dragons, now huge raid force guild are the only ones who can mostly generate the force to clear to them. oh huge raid guilds goimg over board with clickies??? K make them only affordable by those who have millions of expendable plat. in turn probably tricklimg down the cost to the person who doesmt have the time to put into making millions of plat. oh you want an ot hammer MQ now. that will be 25000 per charge. now only people with ot hammers will be mains and alts of huge raiding guilds. that cost effect will continue to tricle down and the majority of the people effected will be people who never used clickies to a significant degree ever in the first place
