First off, someone said you cannot bind anywhere - that is false, you can bind and even bank and buy/sell (though the prices suck) in OT.

My personal advice is to take the boat from Oasis and jump ship just before docking in OT, swimming past the Outpost before making land. Then travel by zone edge (still must take care) to WW zone. From there, take the path toward the giant fort but deviate from path to the left and go around fort, then pick up trail and follow to FoB. Dangerous yes. With SoW, doable if you have been playing the game for a while.

Well it seems like quite the undertaking. Thanks everyone for the info, I guess the route I take is going to depend on who I can get to help me the travel. I was waiting till level 9 so I could keep sow on myself.

Overthere > WW > FoB would probably be the most direct route (if FoB is your destination). The boat ride there should be safe, and you can get bound in OT. WW will be a pain though, every route I can think of has mobs that can kill you pretty easily. I think you can invis past the goblins but if invis fades, some of them cast and/or run faster than your sow. The water and coast along the north is not safe either, swimming would be bad (and terribly slow), and I'm not sure if there is a way up the cliff in the NE area. If there's a way to get up from the coast area, I think there are less mobs wandering near the water, but I haven't been there in a while so I'm not sure.

if you wait til 14 you can bind yourself as well
