Is DA going to dupe themselves a few more officers to handle this issue? I know a few of them are on vacation right now.

Funny. Scathing, but funny nonetheless. What you're witnessing is a recent realignment, if you will, of the structure of the guild. As with any game, team, company, guild, and the like there is turnover. We are dealing with that turnover and hope to handle it in stride. I look forward to dealing with you and many others in the future.

Any idea how many people we've booted for general asshattery?
GM suspensions/bans don't count.

I feel the larger issue at hand is that there is a misunderstanding of the meaning of trolling. Too many times have I heard "TROLL!" and found myself disappointed in the quality of posts and actions found within this subforum and in game. Perhaps in the future we could better determine the course of action to take with an applicant/member, if it were even necessary to address the situation at all. You seem very offended and that has been recognized, but this seems very out of proportion.

I do appreciate your concern with one of our numbers. The disruption of the zonewide newbie giveaway that may have resulted from the actions of the overusage of a clickyitem is unfortunate. Hopefully this will not hinder your performance and generosity of future giveaway events!

I see what you mean. However, one must keep in mind that some of the conduct of which individuals have been suspended or banned was conduct of which were not aware. Once we found out about it they were removed from the Guild. Moreover, some of the conduct was reported to the GMs by our own members. To be sure, not all of the offenses to which you refer that resulted in a suspension was conduct that we deemed necessary to remove an individual from the Guild. While you may not like that, it ultimately was something that we deemed insufficent to remove from the guild. Internal action was taken.

You may cry willful blindness. Perhaps you're right. Perhaps you're not. I cannot claim to know everything. All I can attest to is what I know and what I experienced. There are other instances to which Charyz refers of which you have no clue. Rest assured that we do not take our members acting indignantly lightly.

It seems pretty hard to take internal action when you have a guild leader and an officer core with no self control.
