lol eff Cazic Thule.. home of the aggro greenies and light blue cons that can heal through all walls and Z-axis's. You'll want the 50 mage to camp ravenscale. it's a vicious cycle.

Do yourself a favor and try to find a Polished Steel Dirk and then do your Burning Rapier quest as soon as possible [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Don't think i afford that yet i'm mostly looking for some chest/legs something better then naked/banded.

So if anyone has anything I'll see what plat I can work with.

That should be an EverQuest mantra right before a pull. Everyone huddles, hand stack, "FUCK THE JUDICATORS" and begin pull. Vile lizard bastards.

*Should have multi-quoted

Polished Granite Tomahawk, open with Gloomwater Harpoon
Polished Granite Tomahawk + Crookstinger, open with Gloomwater Harpoon
Polished Granite Tomahawk + Stiletto of the Bloodclaw, open with Gloomwater Harpoon
Stiletto of the Blood Claw + Serrated Bone Dirk, forget the Gloomwater Harpoon for a while
Serrated Bone Dirk + Serrated Bone Dirk (and a lot of intimidation), swap in the Stiletto of the Blood Claw to make it go faster
Burning Rapier + Serrated Bone Dirk (and a lot of intimidation)
then eventually Burning Rapier + Polished Steel Dirk until dragons/planes.

This has been the most effective parsed progression for me thus far, with the exception of the last in the list. I still sometimes swap in my Polished Granite Tomahawk after procing on a green before engaging something I know is dicey, anything to give yourself an advantage if you aren't hugging a zone line. If you're at 50% (starting from full health), and the target is at 65% or above, don't risk it... Move your ass. Relying on procs to bridge the gap usually gets me killed.

I have a Serrated Bone Dirk x2 for now so I'm good on weapons (some necro was gonna use them for his pet)

Still need some chest armor or a good way to make plat. I think a Brigand tunic is like 500 right? I just need to find a way to make some cash maybe i will strip for cash.

They aren't that useful until level 27 when they start proccing. They have a pretty decent ratio, but you're better off with procs all the way up.

Dwarven Ringmail Tunic would be quick and easy to get depending on race. It's not as good as Brigadine, but I'm sure your mage could acquire it now. Otherwise, Banded is sufficient until around 22-24. You may be able to pick up free things along the way and resale them on your rogue, to get enough cash for a better item later.

CT was/is the only zone i've had to burn a Jade Inlaid Coffin in to get a corpse back from the top of the pyramid.

It's a really challenging zone but I think that's what I love about it. My only problem is that with Rubi being removed the risk doesn't pay for the reward near as much. That's why I wish this server were "Ideal Project 1999". I think by removing a lot of nice stuff in the interests of "keepin it Classic" the devs have put undo pressure for releasing Kunark on their own heads. Before the flames start I just want to say that P99 is friggin awesome and my personal objections to certain decisions don't effect my overall enjoyment very much, if at all.
The only thing I would do if I had the money and as good of a development team would be to create a sister RZ ruleset server but that's neither here nor there.

I probably just derailed the thread didn't I? [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
