Vox Raids?

So as i approach level 52 Id like to knock out the dragons i cant do above said level. The problem I've run into is that as far as i can tell, there isn't a pick up raid or rotation for these mobs. I know there is a rotation listed below;

but does this really happen? Do people get level 52 and below together to take these guys down and if so, have room for a bard looking for scales for the epic?

About 8-9 of the bigger guilds on this server have level 52 alts with which they kill Naggy/Vox. The Class C/FFA spawns (2/3) will spawn, and die within 5 minutes. The Class R ones will spawn and die within an hour or two.

No guild will let you come and roll on scales. If you want the scales as a bard, either buy them or join a guild and raid with them for 6+ months, and be a useful member to their raid force, and then you may be in contention for the Trakanon Guts (most guilds bank the scales and give bards the two scales when they win the Trakanon Guts).

The scales can command a price of 50-75k, and the Trakanon Guts 250-300k. Because of this, guilds will always loot and sell them, never giving them away for free.

You will not even get into a XP group let alone loot anything. You will be up on a hill waving to the others as they go at it for 30 seconds. You MIGHT, don't hold your breath, get what you need in Fear for your Shaman epic but.. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

well SoB bitch i guess my guild needs mains for 52 lvl raid encounters then for other encounters 60 plus then huh?

And i was thinking i was going to main tank Lady vox or Nagafen with my 55+ paladin

I guess that shyts not happening then.

so i need 2 mains your saying ?
why in the hell no one don't say nothing about that in ooc in raid guild on forums etc?

even in the raid list is shows that you don't have a level requirement except for Planar 46+ to zone in.

Naggy and Vox banish anyone above lvl 52 that attacks them

so lvl 60ies can raid them- they just cant touch the dragon

But really, yes. You will need level 52s to engage/kill Vox and Naggy. 60s can help clear the trash leading up to dragon.

Thanks well at least i know what i can do play my shaman/necro or warrior and main tank the dragons appreciate this up to date information.

Just to give perspective, there's bards who've raided (not just played) for months and months who still don't have their epic. Trakanon guts are rare.

This gets eased somewhat several months into Velious when epic-only versions of contested raid mobs like Trakanon become available.
