I just feel that if you are buying a 9800GTX, you are not going to enjoy playing any new game released in the next 6-12months. A 4xx would give you a bit more lifetime for only $50 or so more.

thanks for the replys people, found the card rottening mentioned at a whole salers right near my work so will probly pop in and get one of those so i dont have to piss about ordering over the internet, thanks again for everyone that helped.

Ah...you're a UK guy, so I can understand.

I'm not sure about how Newegg does with overseas shipments, but for the US, I will not order from any other supplier. Not only are they dirt cheap on 90% of the items, but their shipping is superb and usually free.

yeah dont normally have a problem with shipping from us but for a fiver extra i might aswell nip on my dinner tommorow and get it, it's payday tommorow to so i can splash a fiver [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] thanks for the help.

PCI-E 2.0 cards are backwards compatible with 1.0 motherboards, if indeed your motherboard is a 1.0. Pretty much every graphics card doesn't have the bandwidth to fully utilize the 2.0 increase, anyway.
