Personally, I would like to see games accommodate merc guilds ^^ Small bands of überness that can help YOU tackle content normally out of reach... For a small fee ^^
Sounds like the A-Team a few years ago.

I know this in Rants'n'Flames, but just don't throw mud on people whom you really have no interaction with. It gives you and the people you don't know bad name. We all have jobs/obligations, families, and there are those who hold themselves to a professional standard. And guess what... people in professional settings also get upset. Hell, they might even yell at you and call you bad names. It might get so bad that you will get sued.

This is a community. The more people realize this and treat each other with respect without trying to shit on other people everything would be better. Let the competition remain in game in lieu of bold statements of disrespect.
You know. Retracted.

I intended my comments to come off as self-deprecating more than anything else. If I could edit I would.

I watch Hoku/Cucumbers argue with Detoxx/Unbrella about nearly every single contested mob for DAYS. Literally days. LawyerQuest is a thing, and it's an absolutely crucial aspect to bleeding edge content raids, and that makes me sad.

While I am not a fan of Lawyerquest and I don't participate in it within Forsaken; to me I understand this as a good level of competition on this server. This is what Rogean, Nilbog, and Sirken all have stated they want multiple times. At time we disagree but there are those time when respect is given.

Last night was one of those examples. There are a many skilled players who play this game who take time to really invest in the mechanics.

Also, what would you expect? We are playing a dated video game mostly anonymously. We all want pixels and to improve our characters. Would you not want your leadership to fight for you and your raid pals?

Take a break. Look at the bigger picture. To me, Project 1999 has become more and more successful. With the hope of more events, a competitive raid scene, and new servers in the future, I hope you share my sentiments.

Well you can't expect other guilds to just stand back for hours and watch BDA train themselves, fumble, and fuck-up their pulls or heals. Eventually, the other guild will strike a deal with loot division; so that a more deserving group of people get the mob.

It is sad to see BDA devolve from the pathetic state it was 2 years ago, to the even more pathetic state is in now. They truly have become the drain of the server -- collecting most the shit that better guilds don't want. Nevertheless, they seem to labor under this delusion that they are a serious guild.

Asgard and Forsaken took down lord Vyem (arguably toughest dragon in nToV). Rampage concede us time for an attempt after an unfortunate spawn situation, and then Asgard and Forsaken one shot'd the mob.

Now some BDA members appear to be forever mad and rustled that they are a tier 3 guild.

Alliances allow for not wiping dkp, keeping guild chat family oriented, and for tackling large raid mobs together, and doing smaller stuff alone, it's really quite nice.

From now and on when you read "BDA" you need to phonetically pronounce it "baduh".

After reading what Jurisdictum just wrote, that came to mind.
