on the blue forums you have yet another thread by two of the lowest tier raiding guilds training each other. that is just the tip of the iceberg of the blue raiding scene

I enjoy hanging out with friends. If that means duoing, PLing an alt, camping for gear/plat, or killing a boss so be it. I don't sit anywhere waiting on a mob. If he's up, great. I'd he's not, I have better things to do.

I don't raid for loot. I don't need to stroke my epeen. I also have no desire to play on a PvP server. Dueling my friend is fun. Everything else about PvP is not for me.

18 hours a day is a basic requirement of any competitive EQ raiding guild on p99.

It's about the "competition" for blue guilds. For who can have "bragging rights" over one another. At this point it's hardly even about the gear. Detoxx even said as much when he came on Sirkens stream-- he wanted to play "to beat Rampage." Same reason why Rampage woke the sleeper, so their team can say they "won." I'll never really understand why, why people run 18 hour coth ducking chains or deprive themselves of sleep to use an auto fire program to fte in order to "win."

Congrats, you're a zombie at work, your wife and kids hate you, all your friends stopped calling you awhile ago because you never answer., you're going on your fifth straight meal out of the microwave, etc. But at least you "won."
