Only one bard gets to sing chant dots on a mob, the 2nd bard's chant dots will just bounce off or overwrite if higher level, where as currently 2 druids can both stack drifting death on a mob with no problem.
Thanks for the clarification. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

But check if 2 druids can stack immolation. No they can not, and that is due to it sharing a debuff slot (AC/Fire Resist).

All Bard chants have a debuff to resists, hence them not stacking.

Is this true? I only ask because a few days ago I was kiting a Hill Giant in NK, and another druid poured his/her dots on it. (He/she was over 44, I was not). When my Drones of Doom wore off, I tried to re-cast it, and it said I could not. I assumed it was because the other druid had stacked all their dots and I couldn't overwrite because theirs was higher. Based on that, I assumed they didn't stack.

I would say necros should have had the biggest gripe with this.
I never said that necros didn't feel the sting. They just had a workaround because feared mobs weren't subjected to the same DoT penalty.
Alot of necros preferred this anyway (and some still do) because It allowed them to med and watch the fight rather than run and hope the pet doesn't steal aggro back
