There's been a couple tradeskill site requests: what would y'all want to see on it? I mean, I'm a tradeskiller myself but off the top of my head all I can think of is slightly more advanced versions of the tables on the wiki, and maybe a cost calculator.

I think the death of past (closed source) sites demonstrates why going OSS makes sense. Plus, GitHub makes collaborating on projects much easier.

Absolutely and if server and client are open source other servers could use the tool as well. People could also host a private version if they wish.

Also ahunery's site is working fine for me. So long as people run the software the log should stay up to date. As well as emailing him missing items.

I'd like all the recipes, but done in a more user friendly way (a bit like eqtraders where you can look up 'all recipes that use this item' and see the stats for the results in a table, only have the table to be sortable and stuff), quick trivial lists, easier to look up recipes for a craft (ex: all pottery recipes ever), can be edited/added to by community, chance of success calculator, and look up by era/patch (especially handy for anyone who plays on the next server) to see what's meant to be in-game at what time.

A website that Livestream cameras set up in each zone line and Identifies every character who walks through. It also takes a guess at what gear the came in/left with. It automatically sends tells to players congratulating them on soulfires too.it also tallies up and shows what faces people have chosen and shows the percentage of face popularity.

An updated FashionQuest™ chart for P99 similar to the old Allakhazam one wouldn't be hard to whip up, and I'm sure a ton of people would use it.
