I don't parse my shaman DPS, (I don't parse DPS at all, actually) but with that said, a (small) log of melee hits against some 25-34 war mobs was the closest I could come to an answer. OP seems capable of calculating DPS so it's a simple matter of extrapolation and knowing your own swing speed to get to a (somewhat inaccurate) answer. I left logs instead of doing potato math so the OP can get an idea for how useful the weapon might be for themselves. Quote:

![]() Um, ok. Most of our arguments still hold up.
A green at lvl 52 can still crack you for over 100. They have 2-3k hps and your melee dps is still piss. Unless you are killing greens in like Runnyeye at 52 in which case your pet is doubling or tripling your melee dps. Your bracer alone is blowing you and the pet’s white damage away. If talking sustainable mana-free damage its a matter of root/pet JBB blasting or meleeing with the wolf. I suspect unless you are quite geared (ntov haste and 2h) you won’t see near 30dps as a melee sham. Never been one tho [You must be logged in to view images.
