I notice that mage's and necromancer's are included and must assume
this is with pet damage....that being the case, id have to go with Enchanter as #1 with a charmed pet of his choice. (which is common in groups now) Add in a few DD;s and dot's and all others shall kneel.......

Let's be honest here, in a real raid situation (I'll say a planar clear at 50), it's probably something like this:
1. Enchanter Pet --MASSIVE GAP-- 2. Rogue 2. Monk 4. Necro Pet 4. Mage Pet 6. Ranger 6. Wizard 8. Shadowknight 8. Paladin 10. Warrior --MASSIVE GAP-- 11. Bard (can technically melee for damage) 12. Necro (pumping is zero dps) 12. Mage (mod-rodding is zero dps) 12. Shaman (buffing is zero dps) 12. Enchanter (cc'ing is zero dps) 12. Druid (off-healing is zero dps) 12. Clerics (aka c-heal bots)

I'm surprised no one mentioned wizard lures or AoE here. Although, caster dmg is as good as it will get, the lure line for wizards makes them quite formidable. And the AE lines are off the charts. This is in stark contrast to the dps pre-kunark (thinking PoSky... eww... like 0 dps).
I'd be inclined to break this list out into different sub-sets... you're going to see a lot different results from a grouping situation to a raiding situation. That being said... Area Of Effect FTW Wave AoE At lvl 52 my AoE wave spell hits 4 mobs for a total of ~2100 dmg each (8400 dmg total per cast). This uses a mear 390 mana. My current mana pool allows for 6 casts of this. in a perfect world i'm capable of dealing 67,000 dmg with a full bar of mana. (6 casts X 4 mobs X 4 waves X 700 dmg = 67,000) PBAE At 53 my PBAE does 495 dmg to ALL creatures for a measly 285 mana. Lets just assume a moderately sized group of mobs - 20. 20 mobs X 8 casts X 495 dmg = 79,200 dmg. (3,960 to each mob) Given 40 mobs... 40 mobs X 8 casts X 495 dmg = 158,000 dmg. I'd like to see any class keep up with that DPS, even if it is spot damage... and this is at lvl 53. I have no clue what the manapool of a lvl 60 wizard would look like.

That problem with the Wiz AE is you can only do it once on a raid before you are accepting a rez box.

Second what Trimm said. No raid is going to support AE in Kunark or SOV raids. It's too much of a PITA to coordinate. Most AE groups fail due to lack of skill or attention. Raid is ten times as bad.

Lol, sure thing. I meant any boss though really that takes more than a minute to take down.

Umm, last I checked you don't kill Trakanon by AoE'ing. I mean if you want to have some AoE fun just gather all of Crushbone and splatter about 50 orcs in one fell swoop. Regardless though, that's still not a true representation of raid dps.
