![]() You should be able to stand and re-feign a few times to eventually break agro permanently, unless that doesn't work here. I haven't played a monk on p99 yet.

![]() So, I've heard both sides of this.
One the one side you have the people who say Monks are a great class to start out with if you have very few resources since they are very stand alone and they barely need any gear to work correctly. On the other side you have people who state that as melee characters, they need all the gear they can get otherwise they suck. Which side of the argument do you think holds more weight? Side question, are Iksar monks specially hated by the good races? How impossible is it to get an iks monk to train at the qeynos area? | ||

![]() Monk is the best class to start off with no resources in my opinion. No need to buy spells, your fists are better weapons that everyone training weapon, already duel wielding, and your AC is naturally better without armor. It takes a bit more effort to save up to buy things however due to the weight limitation.
As far as your question about Iksar going into Qeynos, I have no idea. I know killing gnolls will raise several factions in Qeynos, but not sure if it raises the Monk faction there. | ||
