If people communicated with each other more over epic spawns there would be less issues, nothing wrong with shooting someone a tell finding out what they are doing and how long they're going to be around.

There is no issue of people attempting to communicate. It's that a certain group of players has zero interest in playing nice when it comes to epic mobs. They want to try and twist rules to make their behavior acceptable.

I'm guessing Ragefire from this morning. Doubt it matters who got the actual kill, when things are sorted out the right cleric will get their epic. Guessing most would agree with this.

I've heard alot of so-called rules that I can't find posted? I'm getting the feeling lately people are making up their own rules as they go.

Except it should be cut and dry how to "sort it out" and who the "right cleric" is. When working with "a certain group of players" (credit: cyrano), the grey language in your post is what the aforementioned certain group loves to play lawyer with.

Is it against server rules to charm / mez / memblur epic mobs, and loot epic mobs that you didn't kill / did not have permission to loot?

Many clerics are eager to know.
You're going to need to be more specific about what mob you're talking about, because I'm not going to give a blanket answer based on your vague and general description

Ixiblat is just a turn in to Naxot Deepwater, both of their spawn points are listed in the wiki. You just have a puller ready to grab it before the cleric does their turn in.

Found them for you.

And anything not covered in that section can be found here.

And finally, although I doubt you have access to it unless you are a raid guild officer, agreements between raid guilds are located here. They are not server rules enforced by GMs, but by the guilds in the agreements.
