What I find odd is that no one has any fear at all of these DLL's which could cause a whole host of security issues.
I stopped playing since they went in. If I ever buy a computer I never plan to keep financial or password information entered or stored on I might play again :P Yes I am that paranoid.

Unless he used a special program to be able to 2-box (he gets IP Blocked and can't login with both at the same time), he wouldn't be able to port or rezz himself. He intentionally averted a login mechanic to be able to do those things. He intentionally broke the rules. He's intentionally getting the stated penalty for the stated violation. I don't see how you can't understand this.

How many accounts actually will lose more than 10Kpp? Of the less than 3000kpp, and an average of 8kpp per account, this amount seems irritatingly low. I have to assume the real hackers were storing on a second account, probably from a different IP. The ones using MQ2 to spawn camp (i.e 60 Necro in LGuk claiming the all rares in the whole zone or the warrior hunting his seb key or someone just zoning to see if XXX is up) veritably went unpunished...how is 3000kpp or 8k per account even a dent? I know I farmed up 10K in loot just the other day from one camp where MQ2/SEQ/MySEQ/<Insert your hack here> wouldn't even help...couple hours and a lot of kills with a 48 at a stationary camp...simple to make up the 8Kpp per account loss. Almost a joke amount!
Thus the money loss is a kinda silly and trivial punishment that in essence is meaningless. As for the people calling for perma bans, or deleveling to 1, or stripping the character...how is that going to make a difference then if this ban is going to really affect the economy for the better if the acounts that had the cash weren't even affected? Anyone can go to eqemu and make a new toon. If they were storing millions and their 10 fungi tunics and their who knows what else on a secondary account, it's perfectly reasonable they will be in dragon loot on their new level 1 characters. Now that MQ2 appears detected...and mind you, that is probably only for now, since someone who really wants to hack, will continue doing so. Everything is accessible in the client to enable maps or do the hacks that MQ2 supposedly allowed from another post until MQ2 comes up with a different solution... Anyway, I half expect more than 50% of those bitching one way or another have tried MQ2 and just hadn't used it in the 2 week period that led up to the bans because either you found it to be complicated or not useful in your play style...it's not like a rocket scientist is involved in installing a precompiled program, but using it can be difficult...after all, you did hack EQ to get on p99 and you probably torrented the titanium client instead of buying one since they are impossible to find, so complaining about someone else who hacked is a joke. Finally, about the rants you players have posted in this whole news thread, "it is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing." The devs have given their punishment. Deal with it...they shouldn't have to listen to you, anymore than they should listen to those who were caught in the act.

I think that all the money removed from the people should be put into a random lottery of some sort.

Pretty sure I'm caught up with threads in petition forum. If you are still waiting for a reply (in relation to these suspensions), bump your thread.
