Did Israel make us help them? They are not forcing us to help them. That is our government that is doing that.
In any case, regardless about how I feel about our involvement in the Middle East, I thinks it's way too late. We can't change the past. If we pull back all aid today, I don't think the radical Muslims will say "ok, all's well. We will be at peace with the US from now on." No, I think they'll still be a threat to us, and Israel is the only other ally in the region. I don't like it, but this is reality.

They don't force us -- thier another corrupt-ass big money lobby that goes after anyone that says a cross word about them with "antisemitism" charges. In our own country. The relationship is completely non-beneficial to regular Americans. Even a lot of American Jews are against Israel's basically fascist actions of late.

It also states critical speech that harrasses or intimidates would be punishable. Which is HUGELY subjective and prone to abuse. How about read the entire law before cherry picking like a disingenuous piece of shit?

Two very different caves. Haven’t read any of this for years, but I guess they really are polar opposites. Isolation = ignorance vs isolation = enlightenment? The idea of going out into the world to become ignorant amuses the hell out of me.

I don't wanna ally with Palestine.
Would prefer it if the Jews won completely.

I'm not going to pretend to be able to understand Nietzsche or the translation of Plato, but I think I'm semi qualified to talk about isolation.
I think there is enlightenment of different types to be found in both society and isolation. You can really discover yourself when you step away from civilization. The longest I've ever spent in the wilderness away from any human contact was just under two weeks, but I'll be damned if it didn't help put a lot of my percieved struggles and problems into perspective. This is probably good in moderation, like all things. Humans are social creatures and you don't want to deny yourself of all social interaction for a prolonged period of time. There are people who step away from the hustle and bustle of society for months at a time. I wish I had the financial freedom to be able to experiment with this, but I've got a good job I should probably try to keep. All in all, if you have the chance to camp in a secluded portion of a national park or a spot off the Ozark trail or something like that for a week or two: do it. Isolation can give you perspective, and I think that is a step towards enlightenment.
