I feel so sick now. drinking water and eating mandarin oranges from an old can from inside the sewing machine drawer to feel normal after looking at those black buns.

This. Looks like something someone barfed up. Disgusting, and I am sure they were a commercial failure.

No way dying buns black sells, even as a Halloween gimmick. Its a color associated with contagion and disease when its on a food item That CEO should fire whoever pitched this idea.

it was decent.. probably wouldn't order it again, but i didn't hate it either

Cuttlefish ink is actually pretty popular in high end restaurants. Risotto, pasta, etc... Has a slight briny taste!
