I had never played EQ before.

RL bud convinced me to try it.

Game is still pretty new to me despite hitting 60 on my first character.

I never played in 99 but I did on 01 after finally giving in.

I've been coming to the server since the Pantheon kickstarter began and really haven't had a problem with it since. Enjoy the grouping of the game and feel its the only game that still offers grouping as the primary path to progression. Wish uthgard DAoC had more PvE minded players but I digress.

So I stay here just to do some groups. Have taken a bunch of breaks from the server but always seem to make my way back. Hopefully more games like this will be made but we will see.

The danger.. i'm sick of even EQ live having all the sharp corners rounded so you can't hurt yourself.. if i mess up i should die for it.. and then be stressed for 2 hours trying to get my corpse. Sick of games making everything so easy that everyone can do it

I don't think anyone here can dispute the fact that we all have some form of high spectrum autism for enjoying classic EQ. Its very compulsatory, repetitive, and a time sink like none other.
