![]() The rule of thumb of "Fastest in MH, bets ratio in OH" is absolutely correct, but there are exceptions.
For one, damage bonus doesn't even exist until level... 30ish? Before that the fastest in MH is nearly pointless, and you would want the best ratio in MH. After 30, you might still find situations where the fastest in MH isn't the best idea. For example, if you have one weapon with an absolutely amazing ratio, and another weapon that's slightly faster with a much worse ratio, you might want to put the better ratio in the MH (depends on what the numbers in question are as well as your level) But, the rule of thumb will serve you well for most situations. Fastest in main hand, best ratio in offhand. | ||
