the only thing that didn't make sense when they gave hybrids a penalty is not making the ranger any good at all, all the other hybrids own face therefore they got the penalty. but rangers... wtf happned?

and the race penalties are awesome and i love that old shit, newer games would never do something like that because to much qqqqqqq

If you want to remove the hybrid xp penalty just give all other melees (besides monks) a few additional skills / abilites.

The exp bonus and penalty was based on stats and regen. It was meant to average out the shitty stats.

Same goes with hybrids. They are basically warriors with spells. I think this was done to get more people to play warriors because they are the main tank class and needed for raids.

Makes sense to give equal bonuses to other classes rather then penalties to even out bonuses, but thats not how they did it.

Im rolling a hybrid, not because xp is faster or slower but because of the class. Penalty or not.
