That probably has more to do with you parsing above hybrids, certain pets, and semi-afk people than it does you doing exceptional dps.

Let me know if I'm completely fucking wrong
For necros it depends on what you are fighting and how mucch dps you already have in the group.
For long fights necros have one of the highest sustained dps.
Most xp groups (pre luclin) kill the mob way before the dots get a chance to do much so their dps is quite poor.

Before i stopped, my warrior out dps a whole KC group. Always was top 5 dps in raid situations, and in cripple mode out dps monks. So yes warrior in group can serve as DPS fine, wif no downtime and backup tank.

What level and gear? So what if a VP-geared, 60 warrior can smash face in KC. That's not remotely close to the same thing as talking about a normally-geared 52 warrior trying to DPS in the same zone (especially if he isn trying to stay berserk).

You didn't out dps monks (or therefore rogues) unless you were getting crippling blows... but you were always top 5 in raids? So TMO raided with fewer than 4 monks and/or rogues (hell, and/or wizards, too)? Or did you berserk for every raid? Lol.

depends on level, like others have said.. But a mage or necro that low on the dps chart is surfing porn semi-afk.

the idea that warriors are crappy DPS is just a myth.
