Just don't get used to the garbage collection in C# and then try to code C/C++, or your code will have more memory leaks than a 110 year old with alzheimers.

It's only slow if you're bad at programming, my college degree is in parallel computing and I get the opportunity to write java for 256 core mainframes. Replacing COBOL one derp at a time.

It's still bytecode in a virtual machine - the same implementation on the same hardware would be faster if it wasn't Java =)

My drive to work isn't typically long enough to take advantage of such a situation.

That is with my evo though, and although a ferrari would be an improvement, both are pretty fast.

It helps me wake up though. Did 130 mph on the highway this morning otw to work.. no traffic on christmas eve lulz.
