i like to think that those statistics are skewed, as most firearms used in deadly crimes are probably unregistered

Who the fuck would be stupid enough to register there guns nowadays? I trade nearly monthly, and serial numbers get checked by me, but registering is pretty moronic.

I own a few guns but they must be broken or something, none of them have gotten up on their own and killed anyone yet.

Even without the fear of Government disarment, you have to take into account the changing racial demogeaphic of this Country.

Statistics show that those entering our Nation, in a very rapid rate are not Pro-Gun. One day they will be the majority vote. Look at the Countries they come from, gun rights are nearly non-existent. There will be a lot of changes in this Country, sooner than later. Because of our folly regarding Illegal Immigration. Gun rights, is just one change we will encounter. Welcome to Northern Mexico, viva la misery.

Why repeal, when you can get people in the supreme court to re-interpet its meaning? Or pass an executive action? Or cause enough strife to sway enough of the public opinion? Or just take advantage of natural disasters. See Katrina for reference on the last one.

As society slides closer and closer to disorder, as morales we used to live by fade away. Gun rights can be a dangerous thing for the government to allow. 50 years ago it was very taboo to shoot up a school, or cause mass killing with guns in the states. More and more, its become pretty commonplace. Enough that public opinion is slowly changing on gun ownership. One day it will be the minority, that votes on gun rights. And the majority, that votes against it.

Hell just thinking of all the idiots with zero gun knowledge buying ar-15's only because "its the cool thing to do" people with zero knowledge on gun safety. Scares the fuck out of me.

Ah, the idiocy continues unabated. Do you really think they were making a good point by suggesting mass killings don't happen regularly outside the US? Don't tell that to Norway, who has the highest per capita deaths from mass shootings in the past 20 years, or Finland, who comes in 2nd. And both have stricter gun control laws than the US.
The only reason Norway tops that list is because their one "mass shooting" the shooter took out 77 people. I don't even where you got your "Finland comes in second" information.

Don't misrepresent the facts to try to prove your point when we all know that how many die per capita is irrelevant when we are talking about the problem with too many mass shootings happening.

I don't even disagree with your stance, only your information and how it's presented. If you want to use statistics use Sweden as an example, where gun training is required of every citizen and gun related deaths (of all kinds) are virtually unheard of.
