I don't know but regular thugs think this way not sure if EQ played much of a causal factor here or if it didn't mitigate his predatory urges for a long time.

The dude is obviously mentally ill – and not in the playful way we throw around the term “mentally ill” here in RnF. I think he seriously had a melt down from internet addiction and his mom dying…the lines of reality became so blured and he didn’t have a support system in place so he just went off his rocker.

From some of the news stories it sounds like his dad always knew he was borderline schizo, but the dude was like 34, at some point the parents have to develop a “sink or swim” mentality and let their son try to fly on his own.

Maybe we should ask an expert – Rebbon – how do your parents deal with you still living at home and being a non-functioning member of society?
